Hospitality Aid 2020
As one of the organisers of Hospitality Aid 2020, I worked in partnership with the team behind Experience 101 to create a press release for this hospitality-led music event – a day of live-streamed performances by hospitality employees all with the goal of raising money for Action Against Hunger. What started as a crazy idea between a bunch of passionate people ended up being Day 3 of the Hard RockFestival 2020!
The press release needed to capture the motivation behind the event, as well as providing details of how to participate. It was distributed by the organisers through a number of channels and was subsequently quoted in an article by The Caterer, and the daily Propel Update.
I worked with the team to develop the lineup, utilising local and national contacts to engage with brands and encourage them to put their best performers forward. We delivered a 4-hour live set using perfomers who work in hospitality, virtually streamed around the world as part of Hard Rock’s Online Festival.
