An independent aparthotel with four buildings located in Liverpool City Centre, Citystop was sold and rebranded in 2019. With Covid-19 bringing its own challenges in terms of a decline in tourism, we worked together to reposition them as the ultimate 'Staycation' destination where your pet is welcome to join you!
I worked with Citystop to develop a full calendar of Social Media posts which represented the key values of their brand proposition as “your home away from home”.
We produced branded content using their own images alongside stock imagery which reflected their wishes to represent our city as a great location for visitors from around the world. I was able to profile cultural experiences, local restaurants and fun activities well as highlighting special offers
This led to the creation of partnerships with a number of independent hospitality and activity businesses across the city with mutual discounts adding value for any guest visiting Citystop and wanting to explore the best that the city has to offer.
I was also able to connect Citystop with Foursquare Group, who independently certified their buildings as Covid Safe, leading to the creation of a new campaign “You’re Safe to Stay with Citystop!”
