There’s a new slice in the Triangle and you’re going to want a piece of it!

Baltic Pizza Company is the brainchild of the team behind Dockleaf Bar. Independently owned and run, they’ve taken up residence in the most unique of venues – the old security hut at the entrance of Cains Brewery Village. This compact space now houses prep space and a state-of-the-art oven, allowing founders Toni and George the opportunity to explore their love of all things pizza.

Their passion for creating a quality product is evidenced by the stack of well-read books which sit on the counter spanning a wide range of topics relating to traditional Italian products and cuisine. A dedication to sourcing genuine ingredients is what makes this pizza so special, and the team have clearly spent their time researching the world’s best pizza toppings.

Their dough is made using Italian 00 flour which is worked to perfection and then topped with some of Italy’s finest offerings – think San Mariano tomatoes from Naples, genuine Fior Di Latte cheese and proper Italian cured meats. But it’s not just their commitment to original products which makes a difference. For those avoiding meat, their veggie toppings are all sourced and grown locally within a 30-mile radius, and they’ve even managed to find a vegan mozzarella that actually tastes like cheese! They’ve also developed their own range of homemade dipping sauces which are perfect for dunking your crusts.

All of this results in one of the best pizza’s we’ve ever tasted – thin, crispy and utterly delicious. Pop into the old security hut soon and check out what has to be one of the most unique independent spaces in the Baltic Triangle!
